Please join us to get a deeper understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). We will discuss our unique architecture and strategy and our focus on enterprise workloads. We will talk about how OCI is optimized for running all oracle workloads from applications to the database. We will also look at why OCI is the best platform to run cloud-native workloads.

We will create an environment from scratch on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. We will look at how to create a Virtual cloud network, Compute (bare metal and VM) and block storage devices including boot volumes. We will look at the provisioning experience of databases and Exadata on the cloud. We will briefly look at CLI, terraform, load balancer and other advanced tools.

System Requirements
This hands-on lab runs in an Oracle VM VirtualBox environment. In order to run the lab effectively, you will need the following.
Minimum Hardware:

• CPU: Dual-core CPU
• Memory: 8+ GB RAM
• Disk space:
• 20 GB for download of zip files
• 60GB for expanded VM image

NOTE: If your hardware is near the minimums, you will need to adjust the virtual machine settings inside VirtualBox. See below.

Required Software:
Any 64-bit OS on which Oracle VirtualBox is available
Oracle VM VirtualBox 5.0.10 or later. Download the latest version from http://www.virtualbox.org
Also, include the VirtualBox Extensions package. This is a separate download from the same location
